Our Name & Logo
When we started Passageway Law, we wanted to abandon the traditional way of naming a law firm – with the partners’ names. Instead we wanted a name that communicates the modern firm we aspire to be.
The name we chose, Passageway Law, reflects a firm that is welcoming, warm, innovative, and – of course – one that serves the Peterborough & The Kawarthas community.
While the river in our logo represents power, it also represents efficiency and simplicity – rivers will always find the best path. And when you need legal support through life’s stages, we want Passageway Law to be your best partner – helping you chart your course and navigate the river’s flow in the best way possible.
The balsam fir trees in our logo represent positive movement forward as we rise to meet the challenges and opportunities in front of us. The balsam fir tree is also the official tree of New Brunswick — where Meryn grew up and Rob attended law school.
